01. Make sure there’s at least one bar in the signal icon on your iPhone.
02. Go to “Settings” on your iPhone, select “Mobile data”, click on the “Ubigi” option and check that the “Data roaming” option is activated.
Yes, you can use your eSIM as a dual SIM card if your phone supports this feature. Dual SIM allows you to have both a physical SIM and an eSIM active simultaneously. It’s essential to check that your device supports dual SIM with eSIM, as not all dual SIM devices are compatible with eSIM. Check your phone’s technical specifications and confirm compatibility with your operator.

Yes, you can easily use two eSIMs simultaneously if your device supports dual eSIM, like the iPhone XR and newer models. On the other hand, while Android devices that support eSIM can store multiple eSIM profiles, only one can be active at a time. Bear in mind that specifications may vary from model to model.
To switch between physical SIM card and eSIM profile on your iPhone, you must turn them ON both first in the Data plans section:
– Go to Settings
– Select Mobile Data
– Turn ON “Primary” and “Secondary” (“Professional”) on the data plans section:
Note:
“Primary” = the physical SIM card
“Secondary” (“Professional”) = the eSIM profile that is installed on your device (if you renamed it, it will appear with that name)
– tap on Primary
– activate the button to Turn on this Line
– then do the same for the eSIM profile you want to use: tap on it, then activate the button to Turn on this Line
Your physical SIM card and your eSIM profile are now ready to be used as they are now turned ON:
You have 3 services that you can use with your physical SIM card and your eSIM profile:
– Calls + SMS:
On the Default Voice Line field, select the physical SIM or eSIM profile that you want to use for Calls and SMS:
– Data connectivity:
On the Mobile data field, select the physical SIM or eSIM profile that you want to use for the data connection
- Insert the U4B SIM card.
- Open the Ubigi app. (Install app from App store or Play store)
- Swipe through the welcome screen until you reach the signup screen
- Login or create new user profile.
- Select the device type
- Select detect Ubigi SIM
- Wait for the setup to complete
- Once done goto phone settings and select the Ubigi SIM card for data mobile.

– Go to Settings
– Select Connections
– Then SIM card Manager
– Turn ON your physical SIM card at the top, and under it the eSIM profile you want to use:
Your physical SIM card and/or your eSIM profile are now ready to be used.
You have 3 services that you can use with your physical SIM card and your eSIM profile:
– Calls
– SMS (“Messages”)
– Data connectivity
For each service, you just need to select the SIM card or eSIM profile you want to use.
For example: if you want to use “eSIM1” for Mobile data:
– Tap Mobile data
– Select “eSIM1”
You can now do the same for Calls and SMS (messages) and select which physical SIM or eSIM profile you want to use for it.
Before installing, make sure that your device:
- Supports eSIMs (see What devices support eSIM? or How do I check if my iOS device supports eSIM?)
- Is carrier-unlocked
- Has a stable Wi-Fi connection
- Open Settings on your device
- Tap Cellular (or Mobile Data)
- Tap Add eSIM (or Add Cellular/Mobile Data Plan)
- Tap Use QR Code
- Scan the QR code
- Tap Continue twice
- Wait a few minutes for your eSIM to activate, then tap Done
- Choose a label for your eSIM (e.g., “Ubigi”)
- On the Default Line pages:
- Select your Primary line for calls and SMS
- Select your Primary line for iMessage & FaceTime
- Select your Ubigi eSIM for Cellular/Mobile Data
- Make sure Allow Cellular Data Switching is turned OFF
Not all Android devices are eSIM-compatible. Before installing, make sure that your device:
- Supports eSIMs
- Is carrier-unlocked
- Has a stable Wi-Fi connection
- Open Settings
- Select Connections
- Select SIM manager
- Select Add eSIM
- Select Scan QR code
- Continue the installation
- Wait a few minutes for your eSIM to activate
- Select the Ubigi eSIM for mobile data
